"Awareness About Electrical Safety in Schools is Essential": An Initiative by the Education Department

Keeping in mind the safety of students and staff in schools, and in line with the initiative of the Education Department, a new campaign has been launched. The objective of this campaign is to reduce electrical hazards within school premises and provide a safe environment for all. As part of this initiative, a workshop was organized for students from classes 1 to 12.

On this occasion, the Principal stated, “The safety of children is our top priority.”

Key Initiatives Under This Campaign:

1. Regular inspection of all electrical equipment in schools.

2. Mandatory use of insulated tools in laboratories.

3. Special training for teachers and students on electrical safety rules.

4. Provision of first aid kits and fire extinguishers to be used in emergencies.

5. Educating children about safety rules such as "Don't Touch Open Wire" or "Switch Off Before Touch."

In addition, all staff members working in the school have been instructed to report any electrical issues to the concerned department immediately so that prompt action can be taken.
